In this village, on Wednesday tbe 3d inst., Emeline Jayne, daughter of Henry M. and Rachel A. Cushman, aged four months, and twenty-one days. Our Father knows a parent's heart, He came and kindly smiled ; He knew the easiest way to part And bore away our child. Then tho our earthly hopes are crossed, His goodness we'll adore; And joy to feel our child's not lost— Not lost — but gone before.
