MR. LYDECKER'S FUNERAL.
Was Held on Monday from His Father's House. Funeral services of Augustus A. Lydecker, whose death in Brooklyn early on Saturday morning was noted in the Journal of that day, were held at the residence of his father, William A. Lydecker, on Burd Street, Tuesday morning at 11:30 o'clock. The remains were brought up from the city on Tuesday on the train which reaches Nyack at 11:23, and taken to the house. The deceased was forty-five years old. He was taken sick on Tuesday of last week with a heavy chill, and pneumonia set in. Medical skill could not save him, and he died at 3 o'clock on Saturday morning Mr. Lydecker was a builder in Brooklyn, having established a business of his own with bright prospects of success. His wife was formerly Miss Tillie Burchard, of Nyack, whose many friends here sympathize deeply with her in her heavy affliction.
