John W. Yeury, an old and highly esteemed farmor of Ramapo, died at his late home, south of Monsey, early Monday morning. The cause of his death was a complication of diseases following some affection of the throat which troubled him some time. He was in the 73th year of of his age, and besides his widow leaves three daughters, Mrs. Mathew H. Dernarest. of Nanuet, Mrs. Andrew J. Horn, of Westwood. N. J., and Mrs. Schuyler Banta, Bergen Fields, N. J. Daring the many years of hia resideuce in tho Town of Ramapo, Mr. Yeury commanded the respect of all, was a good neighbor, and one of the last of the old residents of the Saddie River section In politics, he was a staunch Democrat. The funeral took place on Wednesday, services were held in the Saddle River Reformed Church, of which he was a member, lnterment in Saddle River Cemetery. The pall bearers were: James .J. Eckerson, George Eckerson, I. V, S Duryea and C. D. Bogert.
