West Nyack

Description

Photos by Warren Inglese. Captions: Mrs. Bertram Murphy stands in the living room of her home in West Nyack. Furniture is from various periods. English carriage lamps hang over fireplace which at one time was sealed; when uncovered cooking utensils were still there - During the Revolutionary War, this room was a meeting place where political decisions were made and feasting and drinking went on. Now it's the Murphy dining room - decisions are still made and much good food and drink continues to be served.
