Jake Hynes Dead.
Jacob Hynes, proprietor of the Gilsey House, on Main Street, died late on Thursday afternoon, his death being the result of several severe hemorrhages. He was in the 29th year of his age. Funeral services will be held at the house on Sunday, at 1 P.M., and afterward in the German Presbyterian Church. Mr. Hynes familiarly known as " Jake " Hynes, had in the past been a sporting man of considerable note, having won some distinction through pugilistic events. He was skilled in the use of the gloves, and was the possessor of championship honors.
