OBITUARY.
Mrs. Catherine E. Haight Catherine E. Haight, widow of the late J. Frost Haight. died at her late home, Main Street, Spring Valley, Wednesday evening Nov. 11th, after a long illness, aged 54 years. The deceased was a daughter of the late Jabez Wood, of New City, and enjoyed the esteem of a large number of friends throughout Rockland County, who will long remember her kind and considerate attentions. Two children survive her, Edmund Haight, of Brooklyn, and Mrs. Samuel E. Lawler, of Spring Valley. Funeral services were held at her late home, Sunday afternoon, and were largely attended. The Rev. Thomas Stephens, of St. Paul's Church, officiated. The pall bearers were John Weir, J. E. Taylor, T. B. Bohr and Clarence Smith. Her remains were laid at rest beside those of her husband, in the Rural Cemetery, Nyack.
